Neil Gallagher (17th November 2014) paid a visit to Errigal College to lend some support to students who are running their very own school bank as part of AIB’s Build a Bank Challenge. The Transition Year students have launched the “Bee a Saver” bank which is available for all students and staff members to open a bank account and save with the bank every Tuesday during lunchtime. This is a great way for the students to demonstrate their enterprise and leadership skills. This is a competition that Errigal College has participated in for several years as part of their Enterprise module in Transition Year.
The members of the Bee a Saver bank are:
Nicole Sweeney Bank Manager
Luke Browne Assistant Bank Manager
Morgan Coyle Marketing and Sales Representative
Hiba Khan Financial Controller
Chelsea Kildea Teller
Elaine McLoughlin Teller
Best saver for Week 1 was John Nester. Congratulations John and enjoy your prize.
